Associate Professor Shihao Chen MD,MSc,OD

Associate Professor Shihao Chen MD,MSc,OD is an associate professor and Vice director of Refractive Surgery Center of Affiliated Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical College. He is instructor of the Wenzhou school of ophthalmology as well as the clinical instructor for the school of optometry. Dr. Chen attended Medical School at Zhejiang University and received his aster degree of Medicine. Dept. of Ophthalmology and Optometry, Wenzhou Medical College. His fellowships include rotations with international innovators;Vissum eye center, Alicante, Spain, with Prof. Jorge Alio; Laservision clinic Atherns, Greece with Prof. Kanellopoulos; Joint Post-doctoral program of Wenzhou Medical University with Economic and Technological Development Zone of Wenzhou City, Refractive Surgery Center, Eye department of Tromso University, Norway; with Dr. Stojanovic; Refractive Surgery Center of IROC, Zurich, Swiss; Mini－Fellowship with Professor Seiler and New England College of Optometry, Boston, US. O.D. He was visiting scholar of CORD program, School of Optometry, U.C. Berkeley, CA, US. And New England College Optometry, Boston, US. Dr. Chen was the first surgeon to start Accelerated Crosslinking and transepithelial crosslinking in China. He has participated in many early clinical studies in innovation in ophthalmology.
