Max Colbert MD, MBA

Dr. Colbert is an Ophthalmology Resident at the New York University Department of Ophthalmology. He received his Medical Degree from New York University Grossman School of Medicine and Master of Business Administration from New York University Stern School of Business, where he specialized in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Finance. He holds a B.S. in Biological Science from Florida State University.

Dr. Colbert is the Head of Marketing for an ophthalmic imaging device start-up and has previously worked as a Venture Associate with Flying L Partners. Prior to medical school, Dr. Colbert worked in drug development at the National Institutes of Health. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in ophthalmic journals using advanced MRI techniques to study the impact of glaucoma on the central nervous system and has presented at numerous international ophthalmology meetings.
