Mr. Chen is currently leading Digital and Device investments for Santen Ventures, Inc. (SVI), a corporate venture arm within Santen Pharmaceutics. He has been at Santen since 2015 building innovation capabilities internally and transferring to SVI after helping to create the original fund. Mr. Chen has experience in startups and large corporations as well as medical device and pharmaceuticals. His goal is to help active investment companies as a strategic board director or observer.

Mr. Chen earned his B.S. for Physiology and Neurology from the University of California, San Diego and an M.B.A from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
